Overview

The Retro Instruments Powerstrip captures the enormous tone of vintage tube recording consoles and packages it neatly into a 2U rackmount unit. With a Class-A preamp based on classic RCA designs, an EMI-style tube limiter, and the same EQ as Retro's beastly 2A3, the Powerstrip makes for an amazing front end for any recording rig or studio. Bring out the depth and dimension of a lead vocal take with the greatest of ease. Plug your bass straight into the front panel DI and leverage all of the processing, and you might find yourself mic'ing up your amp less and less. The Unit

I'm listing the unit as very good as it's in perfect working order. The unit has had significant use in a home environment, has minor paint loss around the rack mount holes as shown and also a scratch on the bottom from racking and un-racking as shown in the detail photo. It includes an Australian IEC power cord. I do not have the original box for the unit but it will be shipped in an appropriate carboard box and heavily wrapped in bubble wrap.

Shipping

I will ship in 1 business day via Australia Post standard parcel. Some key points on shipping:

• The shipping charges are based on standard Australia Post shipping
• I did look locally for options for an additional outer box and couldn't find any and as such the plan is to ship in a single box
• Alternatively, if this is a concern, let me know and I'm happy to ship via pack and send at the full listed price and include double boxing
• Pack and send does not ship to residential addresses so this is a consideration
• At lower offers and remote locations, I'm of course open to discussing other options
• Personally, I've been 100% happy with Aus Post.
