The Pinstripe Pedals MBFR Multi Buffer is a high-performance buffer and signal splitter designed to preserve your guitar signal while providing a clean and reliable way to feed two amplifiers, stereo rigs or other equipment simultaneously.

A high-impedance 1 MΩ input prevents unnecessary loading of your guitar's pickups, while the active buffer converts the signal to a low impedance capable of driving long cables and complex pedalboard setups without sacrificing clarity or high-frequency response.

Two independently useful outputs make the MBFR considerably more versatile than a conventional buffer. Output 1 provides a straightforward low-impedance buffered 1/4" signal, making it ideal for feeding an amplifier, pedal chain or other equipment. Output 2 uses the same active buffer but adds a Cinemag line isolation transformer, electrically isolating the second signal path to help eliminate the ground-loop hum that can occur when running two amplifiers simultaneously.

Output 2 also includes Ground Lift and Polarity Reverse switches. Ground Lift provides an additional tool for eliminating unwanted hum, while Polarity Reverse lets you invert the second output when necessary to keep two amplifiers working together properly. This makes the MBFR particularly useful for wet/dry, dual-amp and other multi-amplifier setups.

The isolated Output 2 uses a 1/4" Switchcraft jack that supports both TS and TRS connections. With a TRS connection, it can provide a balanced output for recording equipment and can also function as an active DI when used with an appropriate TRS-to-XLR adapter.

With a frequency response extending from 10 Hz to 200 kHz and extremely low noise and distortion, the MBFR is designed to remain transparent while providing the drive capability needed for demanding pedalboard and stage setups. It runs from a standard 9V pedalboard power supply and draws only 20mA.

Hand-built in Oklahoma with a Cinemag isolation transformer, all-metal Switchcraft connectors and sealed Grayhill switches, the MBFR is a compact solution for players who need more than a basic buffer, combining signal conditioning, splitting, transformer isolation and polarity control in a single pedalboard-friendly unit.
