Up for sale is a vintage 1974 Fender Jazz Bass neck pickup, made in the USA during the CBS era. This is the real vintage piece—not a modern Pure Vintage ’74 reissue—and is an excellent candidate for restoring a period Jazz Bass.

The pickup currently gives a healthy 7.75KΩ resistance reading, confirming electrical continuity at the time of testing. Period original 1974 Jazz Bass pickups are documented with gray fiberboard bobbins, and surviving original examples show readings in the same general range, although individual vintage pickups naturally vary.
