Up for sale is an exceptional, all original 2018 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Historic Reissue in Vintage Cherry Sunburst VOS Left Handed. Weight: 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg)

I hand picked it new from Guitar Guitar after comparing multiple Custom Shop R8s and R9s across major dealers (Coda and Peach), this one easily stood out from the pack. The maple top exhibits a stunning figure and grain that could easily pass for an R9. The neck profile features a very comfortable medium C '58 profile, and is not a bulky neck typical of an R8. It has an even taper and crucially, a true left handed neck carve (rather than an uncomfortably mirrored right hand profile), making a massive difference in playability and comfort.

Tone wise- classic late "50s PAF character -rich mids, articulate note separation, and a smooth top end with zero mud. Chords ring clear and lead notes have great weight and bloom.

Excellent, all original condition throughout. Recently set up at GuitarGuitar with fresh D'Addario 10/46 strings. Plays effortlessly with low, buzz free action.
