A rare find! Gibson Midtown Custom Heritage Cherry Sunburst, purchased from Musicians Pro Shop in Brisbane around 2013-14. Well played bedroom guitar in perfect condition, never gigged, few jams but very well looked after to avoid dents, dings and scratches. Gibson don’t make guitars like this anymore, and if they do they’re above $5,000 minimum.
One of very few Gibson production models with the split diamond headstock. The initial Gibson Midtown launch was produced from 2011-2016. I’ve loved this guitar and played everything on it from metal, doom, punk through to chimey cleans like city and colour. Truly versatile, amazing sound and feel and to me, Richlite fretboards are a dream.
Features: Mahogany body with carved maple top, chambered solid wood construction, mahogany neck, Richlite Fretboard, 60’s slim taper neck profile, burstbucker 1 (neck) and 2 (bridge), comes with Gibson hardshell and case candy. Press release here:
Has been in the cupboard for a few years now unplayed and deserves a good home. Needs a clean, new strings, a setup and likely a clean of the volume pots and input jack. All quick and easy jobs that are low cost. Confident it would play right out of the case if you can’t be bothered.
