Vintage BOSS CE-2 Chorus pedal, made in Japan in 1979.

This is an early example featuring the desirable silver screw, 4-digit serial number, and vintage black label.

This example also includes its original BOSS CE-2 box, which is a nice addition for collectors.

Condition

This is a vintage used pedal and shows signs of age and normal use.

There are scratches, small marks, discoloration, oxidation and other cosmetic wear on the enclosure, screws, hardware and bottom label.

The original box also shows age-related wear, staining, marks and discoloration.

The battery compartment and internal circuit board have been photographed in detail.

Power Supply

Important: This vintage BOSS CE-2 uses the older ACA-type power system.

When powering the pedal directly from the DC input, please use an appropriate 12V DC center-negative ACA-type power supply.

A standard 9V battery can also be used.

Power adapter is not included.
