Collings Guitars OM2H

The OM2H is Collings' flagship orchestra model.

Developed by Bill Collings, this high-end acoustic guitar combines exceptional craftsmanship with practicality, earning high praise from many professional musicians.

This particular OM2H features a classic wood combination: a Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood sides and back, a Honduran mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge.

In addition to the excellent playability characteristic of the OM series, it boasts a rich, balanced sound from low to high frequencies, accommodating a wide range of styles from fingerpicking to strumming.

The fact that it has been favored by many musicians across genres, including Lyle Lovett, Keith Richards, and Pete Townshend, speaks volumes about the high quality of Collings guitars.

Regarding the condition of this particular guitar, there is a small crack in the wood on the left side under the bridge on the top, which does not currently require repair. While there are some minor scratches and signs of use overall, there is no significant damage that would hinder playability.

The frets have approximately 80% remaining, the truss rod has plenty of adjustment range, and although there is a slight upward bow in the strings, the string height has been adjusted to a comfortable level at the 12th fret: 2.0mm on the 6th string side and 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

This guitar combines the high-end craftsmanship expected of an OM model with the unique character of a well-played instrument.
