There is often a lot of speculation surrounding the origins of Japanese guitars, which remain relatively little known here in Europe, and they are frequently attributed to the wrong factory. In this case, however, there is no doubt: it is clearly marked, and this guitar was indeed made by the famous Matsumoku factory.

This model, originally intended for the German market, has been exceptionally well preserved. It is fully playable and retains all of its original parts.

Its design is, of course, heavily inspired by the American Telecaster Thinline of the same period. It is an excellent Japanese copy that performs remarkably well. Resonant and properly set up, it is a very enjoyable guitar to play.

Supplied with a gig bag.
