These cabinets are legacy guitar speaker enclosures specifically designed to blend the tight, punchy low-end response of a closed-back cabinet with the airy, expansive, and multi-directional spread of an open-back design. These highly sought-after cabinets are no longer in regular production but remain incredibly popular among players seeking a massive, room-filling clean and overdriven tone without the directional "beaming" of traditional closed-back enclosures.
