This is one you don't encounter often: a Les Paul copy with an authentic "open book headstock," built in 1982 in the Dyna Gakki factory—where the legendary Yamaha SG and SA series were also produced!
As the flagship model of the Studio Lord lineup, this guitar boasts some seriously heavy-duty specs.
Highlights include:
Push-Push Coil Splitting: Factory-installed on both pickups, typical of Yamaha. Pretty modern, right? It makes the guitar incredibly versatile.
Premium Construction: Solid maple top, mahogany body, and a sunburst mahogany neck!
DiMarzio-Style Pickups: Yamaha L3 pickups measuring around 8k output—they sound truly fantastic!
Ideal Weight: Around 4 kg, a very comfortable weight for a Les Paul from that era!
Classic Hardware: Kluson-style tuners.
The guitar is in fantastic technical and cosmetic condition! It was very recently fully set up by our luthier, featuring pristine fretwork and low action. It is almost completely original, except for the nut, which has been upgraded with a genuine Gibson replacement. The pickguard is missing in the photos, but it is included with the sale.
We are a shop, so testing it out is possible by appointment. Shipping is always available. Trade-ins are also welcome at trade-in values.
All guitars come with a 3-month warranty on hidden defects or technical faults (excluding normal wear and tear).
