Gibson BR-9 Tube Amplifier 1951 - Tan

This Gibson BR-9 Tube Amplifier was made in the USA in 1951. These are cool small wattage tube amplifiers that matched with the BR-9 lap steel. They have a single 8" speaker and run approximately 10 watts through a pair of 6V6 power tubes. The amp has been recently serviced and is working and sounding great. The capacitors have all been replaced and a new 3 prong power cable installed. At one time someone tried to install a pilot light to the back of the amp which we disconnected for safety. The amp shows typical cosmetic wear to the tan tolex and is missing the handle on the top. Please check out the pictures and message with questions.
