1960s Sears Silvertone 10XL Model 1421 tube combo amplifier. Chassis 185.12060. Manufactured by Valco with Replacement Electar 8-inch speaker installed. Original Oxford speaker not included. Speaker functions properly and pairs well with the 7189 power tube, sounds great.

All four controls functional. Volume, Tone, Strength (tremolo intensity), Speed (tremolo rate). Tremolo circuit fully operational.

Recently rewired and retubed. Tube complement: 6X4 rectifier, two 12AX7 preamp/tremolo, 7189 power tube.

Original two-prong power cord included as-is. Buyer assumes responsibility for the cord. Professional three-prong upgrade recommended. Tolex shows age-appropriate wear. Grille cloth has visible tears. Faceplate lettering intact and readable. Red indicator light functional.

Great studio amp or collector piece. 5-7 watts of tube breakup through the 7189. Natural overdrive character unique to the Silvertone/Valco circuit.
