The DSL20CR is Marshall's modern take on the classic DSL formula — a fully tube-driven two-channel combo built around three ECC83 preamp tubes and two EL34 power tubes, in a compact and gig-ready 1x12 package. The Classic Gain channel covers everything from clean headroom to vintage JCM800-style breakup, while the Ultra Gain channel pushes into saturated modern high-gain territory. Both channels share a three-band passive EQ with Presence and Resonance controls, and a Tone Shift button reconfigures the preamp mids for contemporary metal voicings. Switchable high and low power modes (20W/10W) adjust power directly to the valves rather than bypassing stages, keeping the amp touch-sensitive and dynamic at lower volumes. The Softube-developed emulated speaker output accurately models the Marshall 1960 cabinet for direct recording or silent practice. Digital reverb, series effects loop, and a 12" Celestion Seventy-80 speaker round it out. The included 2-button footswitch handles channel switching and reverb on/off.
This one is in outstanding shape with very low visible wear if any — presents nearly mint. Fully functional across both channels, reverb, effects loop, power reduction, and emulated output. Tube history unknown.
