The Ensoniq ASR-10 is an advanced sampling recorder and sequencer from the early 1990s, combining CD-quality digital sampling with a powerful synthesis architecture and extensive modulation capabilities.
Going beyond conventional sampling, the ASR-10 allows sampled material to be shaped, processed and sequenced using its built-in synthesis engine. It includes 64 Ensoniq effects, which can also be used live with external instruments.
Its combination of sampling, synthesis, sequencing and effects processing made the ASR-10 a widely used production instrument, associated with artists including Autechre, Depeche Mode, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.

Modified with an SD card reader in place of the original floppy drive. Sequence Track buttons 6, 7 and 8 still register correctly, however the buttons do not physically depress as they should. Includes the original manual, output expander with the specified connection cable, SCSI interface and SCSI manual.
