It combines a multi-channel FireWire audio interface with a full physical control surface, giving you real motorized faders, knobs, transport controls, and monitoring controls instead of having to do everything with a mouse and keyboard.

The 003 is much more than a basic audio interface, it gives you a real mixing-console feel in a desktop-sized unit. With 8 analog inputs with 48v phantom power, ADAT expansion for higher channel count, and S/PDIF, you can build a surprisingly large recording setup and track many sources at once.
