As you can see in the photos, this lovely vintage Yairi is in wonderful playing condition. This is a stunning, top of the line dreadnought, made from their best woods by their best craftsmen. The solid mahogany tiger neck and hurled mahogany back and sides are gorgeous, as is the Cedar top. Yum. The action is lighning fast, supple, responsive and natural; the neck arrow straight and very comfortable. Tuning is rock solid. The tone of the guitar is smooth, detailed, articulate and beautifully rounded and balanced. The wood has matured wonderfully over the years and has developed the sweet, sonorous mid range and smooth cohesiveness of timbre of a well aged instrument. There is no mistaking that sound. This beauty really excels at finger picking.
Cosmetically, as the pictures attest, she has only the minimal exterior wear of a well loved, well played and well cared for instrument of this quality, all at no extra charge. The neck has never been broken, cracked or repaired, the guitar is rock-solid, and plays with no issues. The top is extremely solid, and there is no give or movement. The bridge is A+, no issues. The binding is fresh and clean, -no degradation. The frets are in great shape, and the guitar is ready for another 30 years. Included is the original hardshell case pictured. They don't make them like this anymore.
