Small Headstock: This is from what I believe is a mid to late 1990’s Squier By Fender SE “Strat” Made in China Stratocaster guitar. These originally had the serial numbers on a sticker on the back of the headstock. Rosewood / maple - Excellent condition. Nice feel with a small 1960’s style headstock. The four mounting holes were drilled (from the factory) in a location other than the standard Fender pattern. This was because the mounting holes on the body were drilled on a slight angle (SEE PICS). I plugged these holes with hardwood dowels – SO THE MOUNTING HOLES HAVE TO BE DRILLED TO THE CORRECT PATTERN.
The truss rod works as it should and there is zero fret wear. Took the entire guitar in a local trade. Before parting it out: I adjusted the neck and set the action to make sure it played nicely. I also dressed (filed) the frets ends to get rid of any sharp edges. Then I conditioned / cleaned the fingerboard with lemon oil and polished the frets with 0000 steel wool. Includes everything that you see in the pictures: original Squier tuners and two string trees.
