Here's your chance to own a truly vintage Les Paul, without an insane price tag! Here I've got a Memphis Les Paul copy from the early 70's, in great shape for its age! This guitar is stupid lightweight, and super resonant. Mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, and a maple top (with a very little amount of flame), this thing is every bit as Les Paul as the real thing. The original pickups were bunk, so I swapped them out with slightly-overwound-PAF type pickups, really really sweet sounding, otherwise the electronics are original. Swapped out the tuners from those crappy die-cast ones to some Kluson drop in replacements. 18-1 gear ratio really makes a difference! Like most guitars of this era, even actual Gibsons, this unit has some really, really, short frets, but it was still able to get set up very nicely with low action. You could definitely get 5 or so more years out of these frets. Not bad for an almost 60 year old guitar! Comes with its original chipboard case that's kinda falling apart, but its got some real 70's charm, and some relics from the original owner that I'll leave inside. Alternatively, I have a Gibson soft shell leather gig-bag available, and I'm willing to send that instead for an additional $70, just message me first to confirm.
All sales are final, thanks for looking!
