2001 Fender Standard Stratocaster Blue Agave,’54 Custom Shop Pickups, Excellent Condition

For Your Consideration, a 2001 Fender Standard Stratocaster in pleasing Agave Blue, upgraded with a set of ’54 Custom Shop pickups. Alder body, modern “C” shape neck, rosewood fingerboard, negligible fret wear and sporting a new set of premium Pyramid 11’s. Finish is in pristine condition, free of scrapes and bruises. Includes bar for floated Trem.

The Custom Shop vintage style pickups are “wound for classic bell tones and clear harmonic enhancement”, featuring staggered, hand beveled, Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar magnet wire. The bridge pickup reads 6.5k ohms and is calibrated for “increased, balanced output “, independent of the tone controls; much like the first position of an Esquire.

The neck and middle pickups are each wound to produce 5.9k. with tone control afforded for each.  Pickup selection is provided via a three-way switch, allowing the option of finding positions “2 & 4” as sweet spots between the poles of the switch.
