NASHVILLE MADE - Back in the day (mid 80's era) - company is long gone as far as I know, though.
Sonic Rainbow Labs built quite a few great studio gadgets. We had a few of these in the headphone cue mix chains, and I just found this one left over (sold a lot of that era gear off some time ago).
Not sure what the "Digital Ready" bit was, other than possibly a super clean sounding box compared to some out there, as this wasn't just a couple of volume pots (good amount of circuitry in there). I remember having them chained on a couple of different headphone amp setups - just an XLR in and out to the next one (used a Furman on one chain, and I think a small Crown on another setup).
See pics of outside and inside. Top of chassis has a flange that lets you hook it to the bottom lip of a music stand (thoughtful).
SO - You should be able to use this inline with most standard headphone systems. Selling it pretty cheap, so grab it if you'd like! No returns for buyer's remorse, changed your mind, etc.
