I have for sale a likely 1970's Kay built/branded SG guitar copy. Believed to be built in the late 60's or 70's. It has characteristics of a japanese build from the 60's between the pickup, built quality, parts and structure, although some research has pointed to potentially taiwan or korea as area of manufacture. In any case, this guitar plays great although it looks rough and its got scars. The electronics work good and the pickup is loud and twangy. This guitar has replacement tuning heads that are really smooth and it has also been refretted and restrung. I have also shimmed the neck, to get better action and use out of the bridge. The body has also been reglued and repaired due to seperation of the "ply." One strap button has also been replaced. Past its looks this guitar plays great and sounds great. I have done my best to picture its appearance. Free shipping from Shelby, NC. Thanks for looking, please check out my other wild and vintage gear.
