About This Listing

This is the highly sought-after and extremely rare Santana II model in the orange finish that Santana himself popularized. I am the original owner of this guitar and purchased it from Wichita Band in 2000.

It has spent most of its life in the closet and that's the reason I am selling it: it should be played.

The cosmetics are in very good condition. The only noticeable flaw is the tarnishing of the saddles where the right hand rests. There are also a few micromarks (see pics--the one right before the scale shows them) from picking but that's it. The back is pristine and there are no nicks, dings, or scratches on the top.

This has a Brazilian fretboard and is all original. The pups are powerful but dark and melancholy.

PS This will come with the original black leather artist case.

Product Overview
The Paul Reed Smith Santana Signature II is similar to the original Carlos Santana Signature Model but with 3 way toggle pickup selector and a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. Like the original model, it has an 11.5" radius neck. For players seeking a slightly slimmer neck, the Santana III features a 10" radius neck with many of the same specifications.
