Danelectro is one of the most iconic guitar makers of all time - the obscure designs and the Catalogue guitar charm give these guitars a high recognition value. If you look at the construction of the instruments, you can hardly imagine that these guitars give any useful sound - but the parts sound really good! The Dano 63 is the new version of the 1963 Double Cutaway model with the unmistakable features: hollow Masonite (the back of your kitchen cabinets) body, 2 lipstick pickups for the characteristic Twang and as a modern update a solid bridge with individual saddles instead of the Original, primitive wooden bridge.
