About This Listing

This guitar was almost definitely a special order guitar due to the extremely rare combination of appointments (blonde finish, neck with 335 appointments & varitone system).

Summary

Body: Semi-hollow maple

Neck: Mahogany neck with 1 9/16" wide nut and bound rosewood fretboard with small pearloid block inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Two humbuckers (original patent number stickers), three-way selector switch, independent tone and volume controls, vairtone control, and Kluson deluxe tuners

Cosmetic Condition: The body is exceptionally clean, there's just a small spot of wear by the trapeze tailpiece and some minor scratches and small spots of finish corrosion on the back. The neck is super-glossy and clean. The headstock hardly has any of the typical wear you'd expect on the top edge of the headstock and looks fantastic. This ES-335 is in excellent condition!
