Vintage Kay 5 String . Looks like a mid 50’s to mid 60’s
Solid old USA made banjo Set up to original specs. Nice bright tone .Plays well with good action . One tuner changed to a Yamaha. Fifth string tuner fits well and turns smoothly
Head has a split near the bottom edge and will need replacing at some point . It can be played as it now however.
Lots of missing lacquer and scratches . Neck is straight and the original frets are good . Missing the 5th string .
