The HCT-J17 is a stunning yet affordable jazzbox from Hofner.

You can't knock their pedigree when it comes to archtop instruments. The J17 cutaway is built using the skills and know how of over 80 years building archtop guitars. It echos those Höfner jazz archtops of the 1950s renowned for their loud acoustic volume. Great balance of tone with great projection. This model has a cutaway allowing easier access to the top end of the fretboard for a greater range of musical styles. Hofner has fitted it with a jazz pickup with volume and tone controls so that you can use this guitar acoustically or plugged in.  Includes hard shell case.

Specifications include:
*Flame maple body with spruce top
*Set in maple neck
*Black button tuners
*Hofner floating jazz pickup
*Bound Neck and Head Stock
*Fully hollow archtop guitar
*25.5" scale
*1-11/16" neck width at nut
*Ebony bridge, tailpiece and knobs
