This Tenor guitar was originally purchased at Zapfs music in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Zapf's was an iconic music store that’s no longer in business. Mr. Zapf had a close relationship with Martin back then, as he was a big time dealer. I purchased this guitar from the original owner who bought this guitar 57 years ago, and for 57 years it has been lovingly played and appreciated. It was played a lot! It sounds absolutely wonderful as a vintage Martin should. There are lots of crazing, bumps, dings, cracks to the finish, ext. It has been in a climate and temperature controlled environment since I acquired it. The action is perfect, and despite the first few frets having wear to the treble side as documented in the photos, there is no buzzing to note. The original nut and saddle and rosewood fingerboard are in great shape too. The bridge and bridge plate are original and unaltered. You will see in the photos two larger cracks to the finish on the top. After inspecting the inside of the guitar, the one on the lower bout does have a professionally placed cleat in the middle. I can't really tell if it goes all the way through, or if this was done as a precautionary measure, so the crack in the finish didn't become an actual crack. At any rate, its a very stable guitar. No loose bracing or cracks anywhere else to note. Just lots of play wear. The worst wear in my opinion, is right at the nut on the neck. this is where a leather strap has worn into the guitar a bit. Personally, this doesn't bother me at all! This Martin Tenor Guitar has big time Mojo, and the 57 year old tone to go with it. Currently strung with D'Addario Tenor Guitar strings. The original period correct chip case will be included with the sale. Shipping will be UPS, with signature confirmation, tracking, and fully insured. Don't miss the opportunity to own this Rare Martin Tenor 0-15T. Theres not a lot of these around, and although this one exhibits wear, it just means someone enjoyed playing it for many years. Don't miss this one! It won't last long!! Thanks for looking!
