About This Listing

*There are a few remaining Ruby Overdrives left with the old look and price has been reduces to make way for the new Ruby.* The Ruby Overdrive from Smiletone is a light overdrive that goes to high gain monster in one box. Hand made in the USA the Ruby is an articulate overdrive that cleans up the lighter you pick and gets a nice open, uncompressed natural overdrive when the strings are hit hard on lower settings. The turn of the knob can turn this into big rock amp overdrive. Smokin bluesy tone with a Strat or Telecaster and tight, big, high gain overdrive on Humbuckers. The Ruby Overdrive is a discreet, FET based circuit and can also be used as a boost for that extra bump in your tone. Hand wired and hand made from high end components, the Ruby is made in small batches using high end components. These features include

Hand wired PCB
Hand soldered, high end components
True Bypass
Works with 9V battery,  One Spot adapter or Boss adapter
Silk Screen graphics
Ruby Red, metal flake finish
Switchcraft Jacks
Not another Tubescreamer clone....matter of fact...... The anti Tubescreamer!!!!
