Martin based the D-28 Authentic 1941 acoustic guitar on an actual 1941 D-28 selected from Martin’s museum. This highly collectible D-28 Authentic 1941 boasts period correct “28″ Authentic style appointments, hide glue construction, and Authentic 1941 neck barrel and heel. And because its made from Madagascar rosewood with an Adirondack spruce top, the Martin D-28 Authentic 1941 acoustic guitar sounds just like a classic Martin should.

(Pre-Owned, but barely a scratch!)  It is always a pleasure to get one of these on trade or consignment.  A clean pre-owned Martin D-28 Authentic dreadnought.  D-size body, all solid woods, “genuine” mahogany back & sides, Adirondack spruce top, good old T-Bar and hot hide glue construction. Built like they built them in the good old days. Comfortable modified-V neck. Tonally, this guitar holds its own in a room full of hot Bourgeois, Collings, Merrill, M.J Franks, Huss & Dalton and other high end dreads. It has the classic “woof” a Martin pre-war, and those scooped mid-ranges that define the brand. If you are “Martin” man, and finding a NEAR MINT CONDITION version of the ’41 Authentic is on your bucket list, well we’ve got a nearly pristine one here at a sweet sweet price.
