1999 American Standard Stratocaster - All Black
Gloss black 1999 American Standard Strat in great condition. It wears a shiny and nearly flawless finish. The frets show very mild wear consistent with the year, but it doesn't affect playability. There's the usual scrape at the end of the headstock and a few swirl marks on the back, but that's about all I can find.
Mods, Extras, & Case
The guitar is loaded with EMG SVs, a completely noiseless Alnico V design that sounds like a set of '59 Strat pickups - without any of the hum.
It's wired so that the second tone pot affects the middle and bridge pickups, so you can dial in fat sounds from the bridge position. It also has a brand-new Energizer 9v battery, hand-polished frets, and an oiled fretboard.
Strap buttons were changed to black to match the finish. The case has seen some miles, but is presentable and sturdy.
The tremolo arm (no tip) is included, though the bridge is currently blocked with a piece of wood which has been sanded to fit perfectly.
This is a great classic looking and sounding Strat without the annoying single coil hum. Add it to your collection now!
