About this listing
A concert-style acoustic guitar designed for players who want rich rosewood tone, comfortable playability, and a bold finish with modern visual character.
Solid spruce top delivers clear articulation and responsive acoustic dynamics
Rosewood back and sides provide deep lows, sparkling highs, and rich harmonic detail
Concert body shape offers focused projection with excellent playing comfort
Scalloped bracing enhances resonance and tonal balance
Dusk Sun Red finish adds distinctive visual character without losing its classic acoustic feel
The Yamaha FS830 combines the comfortable feel of Yamaha’s concert-body FS platform with the harmonic depth and detailed response of rosewood construction. Its solid spruce top delivers articulate projection and dynamic sensitivity, while the compact concert body keeps the playing experience comfortable, controlled, and easy to settle into.
Rosewood gives the FS830 a richer and more complex acoustic voice than the entry-level FS models, adding deeper lows, sparkling highs, and a more dimensional overtone character. Yamaha’s scalloped bracing helps the guitar open up with improved resonance and warmth while maintaining the clarity and note separation that make the FS body so useful for fingerstyle, vocal accompaniment, and lighter strumming.
The Dusk Sun Red finish gives this FS830 a strong visual identity while still keeping the instrument grounded and musician-focused. Comfortable, expressive, and built with Yamaha’s long-standing consistency, the FS830 is an excellent choice for players who want a more detailed concert-style acoustic voice without moving into a larger body shape.
