Incredibly rare vintage portable tube-driven Wurly, first produced in the '50s and heard on recordings throughout the late '50s and '60s (including by Ray Charles), with a lighter Pratt-Read action that feels noticeably different from later models. The 120 was the first major revision of Wurlitzer's electric piano design, featuring a metal lid, revised reed assembly and integrated valve amplifier. One of the defining electric keyboard sounds of the era. Features music rest, portable suitcase design, built-in speaker and tube preamp, electrostatic reeds, and finished in a beautiful walnut brown finish.
120 Volt unit. Transformer date code August 1962.
