About This Model
The TC Helicon VoiceTone Harmony-G XT is a dedicated vocal harmony effects pedal built for singing guitarists. It automatically listens to your guitar playing and voice to generate harmony parts — including 3rds and 5ths above and below, octave up and down, and a Bass interval that sings the root of the chord — or can be set to a manual key and scale for use without a guitar. The unit offers 18 combinations of reverb, delay, and µmod, plus four doubling options with tight or natural humanisation. Engaging the Tone button activates adaptive Live Engineer Effects — EQ, compression, de-essing, and gating — alongside auto chromatic pitch correction. Ten presets, each with A/B variants, provide quick access to different effect combinations on stage. Connections include an XLR mic input, stereo or mono XLR output, and a guitar thru path that can share reverb with your vocals or feed a separate amp. A USB port allows firmware updates and preset management via TC Helicon's VoiceSupport software, and a fast chromatic guitar tuner is built in.
