Selling my pair of voodoo vr2 active ribbon mics with shock mounts and a heavy duty stereo bar. These are beautiful mics I've used over the last 5 years. Selling as am looking for a different sound and can't afford the new mics I want. Mics are in excellent working condition having been looked after and stored when not in use. Minor cosmetic marks - see picturesThese are not a factory matched pair, but i've tested them with a Phase Null Test on an acoustic guitar source and achieved a ~21.5 dB signal cancellation (see screenshots) meaning they are sonically well-matched (in output sensitivity and frequency response), and so are a great stereo pair for Blumlein, drum overheads, or room recording. I recorded Blumlein frequently with them with great results. Bundling with heavy duty stereo bar (Gravity MSSTB01 Pro Stereo Bar - £40 new) for solid stereo set ups, including the blumlein set up (pictured)Please note:- not a factory matched stereo pair- only one original box and I carved out the foam to fit both mics in one box (far easier to store and transport)- I have two shock mounts, but only have one mic clip (I'll have another thorough search before sending in case I can find it)- mics have light marks, especially around where the shock mounts grip the mic. (my biggest criticism of these mics is actually just the shock mounts which are a bit tight and take fiddling to position correctly)
