The FM4 is heavily associated with the filter and synth textures John used live during the By the Way era - that squelchy filter stuff you hear on songs like “Throw Away Your Television”, and those wild synth/filter moments RHCP became known for on stage in the early-mid 2000s. This pedal lives exactly in that world.It’s a discontinued unit and getting harder to find, especially complete and fully working like this.
