About this listing
Here for sale we have a Gretsch G9201 Honey Dipper Resonator Acoustic Guitar in Weathered "Pump House Roof" finish. Made in China in 2016, this metal-bodied guitar consists of a Bell Brass body with a Gretsch Ampli-Sonic Biscuit Resonator Cone, a Mahogany neck, and a 19-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Biscuit bridge, Chrome hardware, Grover Sta-Tite Die-Cast tuners, and a Weathered Trapeze Tailpiece. The Mahogany neck plays well, with an unmistakable Medium "V" neck profile. This profile is well suited to a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 15.75" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The smooth lines of the body are comfortable in the arms, with a reassuring weight to the body which provides a sense of dependability and substance to the playing experience. The tone of the G9201 Honey Dipper is unmistakably 'resonator', delivering those early blues sounds that we know and love. There is plenty of dynamic range on offer, rewarding gentle picking with a soft and intimate tone, whilst strumming more firmly delivers plenty of power to help you be heard over the rest of the band. The instrument's voice really shines through when playing delta blues styles with a slide, offering an authentic playing experience and tone, with powerful low end and singing mids. The voice is full-bodied, offering a wide and dynamic tonal range which is just as at home as a solo instrument as it is as part of an ensemble.Brand- GretschModel- G9201 Honey Dipper ResonatorFinish- Weathered "Pump House Roof"Year- 2016Made In- ChinaBody- Bell BrassNeck- MahoganyNeck Profile- Medium "V"Fingerboard- PadaukFingerboard Radius- 15.75"Frets- 19Scale Length- 25"Nut Width- 1.75"Pickups- N/ALuthier ReportOur ID: 1220526210521Weight: 8.7lbs Serial: CAXR161591Aesthetic Condition:Headstock: Overall very good condition.
