This 2022 Gibson Custom Shop CS-336 Sunburst represents one of Gibson's most refined interpretations of the semi-hollow concept, with a more compact, hollow-body construction that gives it an extremely direct and dynamic response. The maple and mahogany body, finished in an elegant gloss sunburst finish, combines aesthetic depth and great resonance, while maintaining a more defined attack than the classic 335. The mahogany neck with a Slim Taper profile offers a fast and modern playability, perfect for those seeking comfort without sacrificing Gibson character. The rosewood fingerboard, with a 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, ensures fluidity across the entire scale, making this guitar extremely versatile in any musical context. The electronics are entrusted to a pair of '57 Classic pickups, controlled by a three-way switch, capable of delivering a warm, rich, and three-dimensional tone, with definition that lends itself to both complex cleans and full-bodied overdrive.
