Here for sale we have a Fender Player II Mustang Electric Guitar in Aquatone Blue finish. Made in Mexico in 2024, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Slab Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Strings-Through-Body Strat Hardtail bridge with Bent Steel Saddles, Fender ClassicGear tuners, and a set of Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Mustang Pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. The Maple neck plays well, with the 'Modern C' profile feeling fast and articulate, whilst the Satin Urethane finish to the rear ensures effortless transitions into any position. Fender have brought rolled fingerboard edges to their Player II series and it makes a world of difference, feeling comfortable and seamless all the way up the neck. The Slab Rosewood fingerboard is also a welcome addition to the Player series and provides a robust and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect marriage between comfortable playability and modern practicality.The pair of Player Series Alnico 5 Mustang Single-Coils installed deliver classic Fender tones in a simple and user-friendly package. The neck pickup is round and smooth, great for shimmering clean sounds and thick lead tones. The bridge pickup is brighter, allowing your rock and grunge rhythm lines to easily cut through the mix. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.Body: Overall very good condition. Very light finish cracks are present at either side of the neck pocket. These have been tested and present no structural concern. The treble side edge of the neck pockets demonstrates a small area of finish chipping that reveals the wood beneath.The pickguard shows light scratching consistent with playwear. Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional.
