Brand New w/ Warranty. We are an authorized Fano Dealer.Like what you see All photos are of the exact instrument you will receive. The Alt de Facto series is Fano’s top-of-the-line custom series. These are handbuilt in the USA by one luthier from start to finish so that every instrument tells a unique and cohesive story. Nitrocellulose lacquer body and neck of course. If this isn’t exactly the guitar you are looking for, let us know what you want and we’ll get you the best price on your custom build. What Do We ThinkThese are some very unique specs for a Fano. You can’t go wrong with Sonic Blue and a rosewood board, as it’s a classic and handsome combination. Dress it up with block inlays and a crisp parchment pickguard, and you've got a real winner. The medium-heavy aging looks great and adds a broken in feel to the neck.Tonally, this Fano covers quite a bit of real estate with its HSS pickup combination. The bridge position Imperial always performs. The open coil variant opens up the articulation without being too bright. Believe it or not, you can get ‘80s hard rock tones as well as your classic rock or country sounds. The neck and middle Lollar Blonde’s are excellent singles. Super versatile and very easy to play. The bottom end is juicy and the top is snappy. The in between positions both worked well with some overdrive, and position 4 in particular dishing out the spank when cleaned up.Position 2 brings in the full humbucker in conjunction with the middle pickup for a slightly more punchy and compressed take on this position. It's like putting a studio mastered guitar tone at your fingertips. You can feel the individual contributions of each pickup in a delightful way and epitomizes the flexibility and power of the HSS configuration. The Gotoh 510 is a superb tremolo. Specifically, this is the 510T-SF2 model with traditional steel saddles and Gotoh’s FST mechanism which prevents the strings from binding on the baseplate as they exit the block. Tuning returns perfectly to pitch after use. And the tremolo arm has an improved thread design and an adjustable collet to take out the play that plagues traditional S-Style trems. How Does It PlayThe early ‘60s-inspired C profile is temperately slim and allows for lavishly fast playing, yet also maintains a nice round shoulder that supports the hand and thwarts fatigue. The finish is sanded naturally off the back to prevent any nitro stick as your hands get moving. The string action measures right at 4/64” across all strings without any buzz.Weight: 7lbs 9ozThe Fano deluxe padded gigbag pictured is included. We also stock the Fano hard case option and you can upgrade to that if you would like!SpecificationsBody: AlderNeck: Maple (Bolt-on, 10 degree headstock pitch, vintage style truss rod)Fingerboard: RosewoodFingerboard Radius: Compound 9.5-12"Neck Shape: Early 60's "C" Shape (.830 - .920”)Scale Length: 25.5"Inlay: Blocks/ White MotoFrets: 22 Jescar Nickel/Silver (6105 profile)String Nut: 1.65" Graphtech Tusq XLTuning Keys: Fano DeluxeFinish: Nitrocellulose LacquerNeck Distress: Med/ HeavyBody Distress: Med/ HeavyBody Color: Sonic BlueNeck Color: Vintage Amber TintUpper Peghead Color: Sonic BlueLower Peghead Color: Vintage Amber TintHardware: Aged NickelNeck Pickup: Lollar Blonde SingleMiddle Pickup: Lollar Blonde SingleBridge Pickup: Lollar Imperial HumbuckerPickguard: 3-Ply ParchmentControls: Volume, Tone & 5-Way BladeBridge: Gotoh 510 VibratoSwitch Tip: CreamKnobs: Cream StratStrings: D'Addario "NYXL" .010 - .046
