Our first episode of the Drums Through the Decades series zeroed in on some of the most popular drum sounds of the 1950s. Today, we're jumping into a new decade—the 1960s.

From 1960 to 1970, recorded music changed more than it had in any decade before or since. From the Wall of Sound to artists like the Beatles and the Jimi Hendrix Experience, drum sounds evolved to become ever more impactful.

Today, Noam and Jessica are in the studio to recreate some of the most popular drum sounds of the decade.

Though there are countless examples of excellent drum sounds that highlight the transformative music of the '60s, Noam and Jessica had to choose just a couple of songs to recreate. Today, they're tackling "Be My Baby" by The Ronettes, "Baby Love" by The Supremes, "Hey Joe" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, and "Strawberry Fields Forever" by the Beatles.

Check out the full video above to see how they pulled it off. You can also download a free sample pack of the drum sounds Noam and Jessica created here, or by clicking the listing card above.
