Ableton Loop is a conference, seminar, showcase, and learning experience all wrapped into one weekend. Pre-COVID, the event has been hosted in Ableton's home of Berlin, as well as in Los Angeles. But this year, Ableton is taking the show—"Loop Create"—entirely virtual. And not only that—it's also free to anyone who registers.
Taking place June 26 and 27 this year, Loop Create promises to be an "online event designed to bring music makers together across different time zones. With a variety of sessions in different formats, Loop Create invites you to play, experiment, learn new techniques and meet fellow creators from all over the world in a fast-paced, collaborative environment."
Artists, musicians, educators, and the leading names in gear technology today will not only be in attendance, but will be leading seminars wherein they share their individual insights, tips, and processes for all things music-making. For any musicians who are actively making music and passionate about learning and experimentation, there's no better opportunity to expand your horizons than at Loop Create.
Registration for Loop Create is open as of today, so head here to sign up and secure your spot. You can also explore the Loop blog on Ableton's site to see some examples of the kinds of talks that have been given at past shows, and you can also check out some reflections from the 2017 Loop Summit from Reverb's own Justin DeLay.
