Find of the Week: A Trio of Hand-Painted Masterworks

This week's Find of the Week is a particularly flowery set: it's a trio of Fender Custom Shop guitars each decked out in the same vivacious Blue with Red & Gold floral design.

These three guitars are all listed separately—a Stratocaster, a Jazzmaster, and a Telecaster—and they were all built by master builder Ron Thorn and meticulously hand-painted by frequent Fender Custom Shop collaborator Sarah Gallenberger.

All three feature birdseye maple necks with dark rosewood boards, as well as alder bodies with anodized aluminum guards loaded with Josefina pickups. Each guitar also comes with a deluxe hardshell case, a strap, a polishing cloth, and a certificate of authenticity.

A note on the folks behind these instruments: before coming on as Fender's Principal Master Builder, Ron Thorn built instruments as Thorn Guitars that earned a cult following in their own right. As for Sarah Gallenberger, she's taken on one-of-a-kind custom designs for Fender since 2015 after previously working with Gretsch.

Let the flower power bloom and visit the listings of each guitar at these links: Stratocaster, Jazzmaster, and Telecaster.
