Up for sale is an amazing 1947 Gibson L-5P (Premier). All original. This is the 1st year of the cutaway. Beautiful selection of tone woods featuring Solid Spruce top and the very rare solid birds-eye maple back. Light flame sides. The voice on this guitar is stunning! Balanced across the spectrum with unreal projection. This one's been played and then some! It's seen many a bandstand for sure.  Ebony board with block inlays. Super comfortable soft V neck is really easy to play.  It's going to need fret work soon as it's an oldie, been played and is going to need some love. It has had some pro work done on the top to repair some cracks. The work is top notch and does nothing to detract from the sound or strength of the guitar. This is a rare bird that needs a loving home! This guitar has not been played in years so think of it like a Stradivarius, it needs to be played to be brought back to it's it's original splendor! And hey, that's more than half the fun right? Do not let this one pass you by! Comes with a beautiful OHC!
