Here's a RARE, ORIGINAL Silver Plated Selmer Model 22 Alto Saxophone.
This sax plays and sounds like butter. It has the sound that has made Selmer Saxophones famous. To me, the tone sounds better to me than a Conn Chu or a Conn 6M.

This Selmer has been refurbished. Taken apart, chemically cleaned and hand polished.
Pads, springs, felts, adjustments as needed. This alto is in top playing condition.

As with most vintage saxophones, each player will want to have a local technician perform a final adjustments to ensure that the key action meets personal preferences.

NOTE: Be very careful if you are considering a purchase from a NON PROFESSIONAL SAX PLAYER. You may be in for a big surprise. I am a pro sax player of 50+ years. I play, test and evaluate everything I sell.

Selmer set the gold standard with their saxophones. This is the 2,641st alto saxophone ever produced by Selmer. Own a piece of Selmer history with this alto in incredible condition. I am offering a choice of the original Selmer case or a quality gig case.

TRUE FACT: Nothing manufactured today sounds like these old Selmer Saxophones.
The brass they used was much thicker giving these horns a wonderful singing, rich, dark tone. No other sax sounds like these original old Selmer's.  Check out my other listings.
