This early 1970s SG neck is ready For your next project modified with a rosewood fretboard featurong a 625mm / 24.6” scale
it is a BGN stamped neck but seems to have had its fretboard replaced and the inspecting this neck i am very sure that the crack that is visible at the volute is in the lacquer only this is based on three reasons
1) the part of the crack is into the treble side of the headstock and not all the way through to the face or the treble side
2) it is a laminated neck which is much less prone to cracking especially where the lacker is cracked across two of the laminates.
3) I put a lot of pressure and could not observe any movement and do not see any glue residue
Sold as is and work will need to be done to get it onto a guitar and playing see pictures for details
