From the collection of Butch Vig and Smart Studios. Butch bought this microphone after hearing the album The Trinity Session by Cowboy Junkies. The Trinity Session was recorded in a church using one microphone, the Calrec Soundfield. After listening to the album he knew he had to get one. If you want a microphone that can capture that stereo, 3D experience, the Calrec is the one to do it. Butch used this a lot on room mics. It's a great live microphone, and the more organic the source of your recording, the more this microphone will shine.
