The second issue in the ASG Vision series, the Ace of Spades is inspired by the epic title track from Motörhead’s classic 1980 release, a record that continues to rouse metalheads into frenzied mayhem to this day. With its anthemic vocals and driving, punch-to-the-gut rhythm, Ace of Spades is often revered as the quintessential Motörhead creation, the apotheosis of their direct, visceral style. The design cues for this axe are straight from the album, showing the classic Ace of Spades logo in black contrasting against a bright white background. Black body binding, Seymour Duncan Blackout humbucking pickups and trapezoid, mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays complete this striking design.
Only 500 ASG Vision Ace of
Spades guitars will ever be produced; this one is marked with
its own specific production number (#236). It was also built with
factory upgrade options of all black hardware and Seymour Duncan
Blackout Pickups, further increasing it's value and rarity.
The
ASG Vision Ace of Spades is
based on the ASG Nocturne model (their LP Style guitar) with a basswood
body and
neck, rosewood fingerboard, carved top, mother-of-pearl inlays,
Gravedigger headstock and Vision headstock emblem. These axes are
designed and set up for
maximum shred potential.
