I have just cleared a war veteran's home, which this was included. A truly rare 1930s / 1940s 'rope tension' marching snare drum made by Gretsch. It is in wonderful condition, and comes complete with the strap, bag, and two pairs of drum sticks. It's a complete piece and super rare. This is pre-lugs and the ropes are the tension - amazing! In wonderful condition, even down to the original calf skins. Incredible! This is genuine and you'll not find another like it! Please see the pictures below as these form part of my description.
