Resonator Mandola 2022 - Tunes CGDA or DAEB
I made this over lockdown, along with a Mandolin and Banjolin. I used a top quality neck, Continental cone, high quality cover and tailpiece and made a body from veneered ply with solid mahogany rims.
The geometry is spot on and it's solid but here are some cosmetic faults if you look closely.
The action is good and easy to adjust if you want it up or down. The intonation is good and it stays in tune for ages. I'd like to recover my costs so it's reasonably priced. It comes in a good gig bag. Cheers.
