Described as "Kluson Pattern..." to avoid any possible risk of misdescription, as the tuners have no stampings to confirm conclusively, but if you read the section headed "1960s Example" in this guide, look at the photos, and check up on a recent eBay USA listing, where the "...Patent Applied For..." stamp does appear you will be as convinced as I am that these are original, unused Kluson tuning machines. See further details below...in an apparently original box, but no fixing screws, ferrules or bushings included.

DESCRIPTION NOTES: 2-on-a-plate tuning machines of this type were fitted on generally on the USA-made Tenor Guitars produced by the Harmony and Kay companies in Chicago (and no doubt others) through the 1940s, '50s and '60s, together with some Banjos, and Bass Guitars.
Many of these machines were of the Waverly pattern, but this set is clearly Kluson design, having the same post spacing, but different fixing screw placements (4 screw holes, rather than 3 on the Waverlys). In addition, unlike similar Waverleys, these have two post string holes...suitable for either solid headstock or open/slotted headstock guitars.
Of the Harmony production we are looking at the H950T Monterey and H1215T Archtone archtop tenors, the H1201TG Sovereign, and H929TG Stella flattop tenors (many of all of these models I have restored and sold as a speciality over the years), and the H22 Bass. Kay-made models included Silvertone branded tenor guitars.
CONDITION: Mint/Unused vintage condition. Nickel plates, Brass posts and gears, look entirely unused and fully operational. Tuners are in apparently original box, with hand written annotation, but no fixing screws, ferrules or bushings included.

DIMENSIONS: Overall Length: 110mm./4.33"/ 4 21/64". Plate Width: 17.5mm./0.69"/ 11/16": Post Spacings: 69.8mm./2.75". Post Diameter: 6.25mm./0.25". (If sourcing vintage type bushings, or bootlace ferrules as they are sometimes known, you would need to order the larger of the two sizes offered by StewMac., to fit 1/4", rather than 7/32" posts, or the equivalent from alternative supplier). Post string hole heights, measured from plate @ centrs 12.5mm & 21mm. Screw Fixing Holes, measuring from top edge of plate @ Centres 4.5mm., 35mm., 35mm. & 29mm.
